Committed To Continuous Improvement!

Today we have a look at the subject of
'Continuous Improvement'. I personally liked this
quote from Kim Collins....Strive for continuous
improvement, instead of perfection.
And another one from Steve Ballmer..As a global
company, our future growth and success requires that
we constantly look at ways to improve our ability to
serve customers worldwide.

And the same goes for me!
'Til next time!

YOU'VE Got To Get Out Of YOUR Comfort Zone!

While on the subject of COMFORT ZONES - here's a poem that
inspired this cartoon...

My Comfort Zone - A Poem
Author Unknown

I used to have a comfort zone where I knew I wouldn't fail.
The same four walls and busywork were really more like jail.
I longed so much to do the things I'd never done before,
But stayed inside my comfort zone and paced the same old floor.
I said it didn't matter that I wasn't doing much.
I said I didn't care for things like commission checks and such.
I claimed to be so busy with the things inside the zone,
But deep inside I longed for something special of my own.
I couldn't let my life go by just watching others win.
I held my breath; I stepped outside and let the change begin.
I took a step and with new strength I'd never felt before,
I kissed my comfort zone goodbye and closed and locked the door.
If you're in a comfort zone, afraid to venture out,
Remember that all winners were at one time filled with doubt.
A step or two and words of praise can make your dreams come true.
Reach for your future with a smile; success is there for you!

Be Willing To Do More Than You're Paid For!

There are no traffic jams in the extra mile. Unknown

No one ever attains very eminent success by simply doing what is required of him; it is the amount and excellence of what is over and above the required that determines the greatness of ultimate distinction.
Charles Francis Adams
Give the world the best that you have, and the best will come back to you.
Madeline Bridges

One of the most important principles of success is developing the habit of going the extra mile.
Napoleon Hill

Always render more and better service than is expected of you, no matter what your task may be.        Og Mandino

Being a WINNER!?

Being a winner is more than getting a first place trophy, it is acting like the effort was an honour and the trophy is just a decoration.

The Customer REALLY is King!

And here are some great 'customer service' quotes that you should
REALLY take note on...

"There is only one boss. The customer.
And he can fire everybody in the company from the chairman on down,
simply by spending his money somewhere else."
Sam Walton

"One customer, well taken care of, could be more valuable than $10,000
worth of advertising."
Jim Rohn

"Being on par in terms of price and quality only gets you into the game.
Service wins the game."
Tony Alessandra

"Here is a simple but powerful rule -
always give people more than what they expect to get."
Nelson Boswell

Have the COURAGE to do things differently!

"There's plenty of intelligence in the world, but the courage to do things differently is in short supply."

Just a reminder about LIFE:

Just a reminder about LIFE:
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention
of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body,
but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand -
chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn
out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!

Is It Really Worth Being Stressed!?

"When you find yourself stressed, ask yourself one question: Will this matter five years from now? If yes, then do something about the situation. If no, then let it go."
