Take particular care as to what you allow to enter both your

ear and eye gates. For what you allow to pass through here

will determine what comes forth from your mouth and will

be demonstrated through your actions. It will determine what

fills your mind and will ultimately influence your destiny.

Imagine having a sentry on guard twenty-four hours a day

and seven days a week. Choose to avoid certain places, switch

channels on the television and refuse to be bombarded by

unwanted visual or verbal stimuli that is not healthy for your

ongoing personal development. Say 'no' to the mediocre and

only 'yes' to the excellent.

Our minds are an extremely powerful tool, and as you may have heard before, we only use a small portion of it every day.(Sid Gatt uses even less than that!)

Positive thinking has a great impact on your life. So we must do our best to keep thinking that way. If you find yourself having a negative thought - STOP yourself immediately - and change it to a positive one. Another way, is to surround yourself with positive people and stay well clear of negative ones.(Sid Gatt springs to mind again!)
